I really liked the look of these shorts as soon as I saw them, the dark blue wash and creased effect on the front makes them look modern and stylish, while the side pockets make them incredibly functional. Personally, I think those extra two pockets you get on the leg add to the design as well, rather than just making them more useful.

The length is great, letting them hang just below the knee, and just so everyone knows where they came from, the Gio-Goi logo is subtly placed on the left side pocket and on the back. So what’s the downside? Well, they’re not the cheapest shorts around, clocking in at £45, but that really is the only bad point we can see, so if you’re interested, follow the buy now link and take a closer look.

According to the Daily Star online, Victoria has been trying to persuade him to design for her label for some time, but has only just been successful. There’s no doubting that David Beckham is one of the best dressed men around, and apparently that’s what his wife has used to convince him to go into design, but it’s yet to be seen how successful he will be at creating clothes.

I think we can all agree that it’s unlikely Becks will turn out to be a natural fashion designer. I would bet my last pound that his skills with a sewing machine won’t match up to his handling of a football, but then Victoria had a successful career in music before she moved into fashion, albeit not as successful as her husband’s!

You only need to take a look at labels such as Roc-A-Wear, US music icon Jay-Z’s fashion label, to see what a great personality and a great backroom team can do in the world of menswear. We’ve been told that David is going to focus on suits and smartwear for his range, which is due to be released in just over a year’s time, and I have no doubt that it will provide a massive boost for the already successful DVB brand.

What we really like about these shirts is the tailored fit which allows them to fit perfectly, especially good for thinner men who are fed up of wearing baggy clothes, and the variety in styles is fantastic.

The great range of colours available ensures that there will be something to suit anyone, and each shirt is different in it’s design. Instead of just selling the same shirt in several different colours, each style is different in it’s styling. If you look closely, you will notice differences in the collars, pockets and buttons. Some have zips, some have hoods, some have epaulettes, some have the logo on the back (like the one shown).

We were really impressed with the variety that Firetrap have provided with this range of men’s shirts. The one and only thing they all have in common is a great brand name.

Ok, so there’s never a lot to choose between men’s flip flops, but we love the simple eye catching design of these, and they also come at a very good price. And, if you don’t like blue, they also come in green.

Something else we really like about these sandals is the textured upper surface of the flip flops. Although this is very simple, and it’s not unique to these flip flops, it is a great feature because it helps keep your foot in and prevents them flying off in front of you as you walk like a lot of flip flops.

We think these men’s flip flops are well designed, well made and come at a good price, so if you’re shopping for flip flops, go to Burton and take a closer look. Also, don’t forget to check out the green design.

The fantastic colours are what makes these polo shirts great, and you will be able to find something that suits you.

Then there’s the material. None of that cheap, coarse cotton that many polo tops are made from, Soul Cal have used quality material which makes the Pique Polo T-Shirts really comfortable to wear, and the contrasting colour velvet strips around the collar and waistline add just the right amount of detailing.

One downside is that you need to remember to wash them inside out and avoid putting them in the tumble dryer, but that’s only to preserve the strong colour, and it’s no different to any other piece of clothing this bright. I honestly think this is one of the best range of polo shirts this year, in terms of both quality and value, in fact I like them so much, I’m writing this review wearing the orange polo pictured above!
